Company History
Datacover Inc was formed in 1983 to produce protective switch covers for IBM computers and peripherals.
Datacovers were successful in preventing Accidental Shutdown, and a whole line of protective covers was born. Then,
later, about 1990, IBM redesigned the machines, tucking the switches and controls away, out of site and touch. In
1994, Datacover Inc was dissolved, but the covers are still being made by MIS Associates Inc.
